Delivery, shipping and timing
Delivery on Baylaya is arranged directly between buyer and seller. There is no Baylaya courier booking, parcel tracking service, standard delivery schedule or shipping insurance. Confirm the arrangement for the actual item and destination before paying.
Before you agree to delivery
Use this checklist in your Baylaya conversation so both people have the same written details. It is a guide for making arrangements, not a courier booking or a change to your legal rights.
- The exact item, condition, quantity and included parts; whether stock is already in the Philippines or will be imported.
- The complete amount in pesos: item price, delivery, packing and any other charges. Agree who pays each charge and how payment will be made.
- The courier or delivery method, who arranges it, destination coverage and any pickup or collection point. Share the full address privately only when needed.
- The expected dispatch date, estimated arrival range, tracking details and how you will be told about a delay.
- The contact for a missing or damaged parcel, return arrangements and the seller’s cancellation or refund terms. These arrangements do not remove applicable consumer rights.
Dispatch date and delivery estimate are different
Dispatch is when the seller hands the parcel to the courier. Delivery is when it reaches the agreed destination. Ask whether a quoted number of days starts after payment, preparation or courier pickup, and whether it means calendar days or working days.
Baylaya has no standard nationwide delivery time. Ask the seller for an estimate for your actual city or barangay and delivery method. A Manila estimate should not be assumed to apply to an island or remote destination. Weather, holidays, access and customs can affect timing; ask for an updated estimate if anything changes.
A seller’s estimate is not a Baylaya delivery guarantee. If a date is essential, explain that before agreeing and ask the seller to confirm what can actually be met.
After dispatch
Ask for the courier name, tracking number and dispatch confirmation. Check tracking through the courier’s own website or app; a label or payment screenshot alone does not prove the parcel was handed over. Do not enter a banking password or OTP through a delivery link sent in chat.
For pickup or a meetup, agree the place and time and inspect the actual item where possible. Keep payment and collection evidence. Baylaya does not provide a cash-on-delivery service or release money after delivery.
Late, missing, damaged or incorrect delivery
- If the dispatch or arrival estimate is missed, ask the seller for the current status, tracking and a revised date. Record the response in the same conversation.
- If tracking says delivered but you have not received the parcel, check the agreed recipient or collection point and contact the seller and courier promptly. Ask for delivery evidence; do not confirm receipt you cannot verify.
- For damage, missing contents or the wrong item, keep the packaging, item, photos, tracking, payment evidence and conversation. Stop using an item that may be unsafe. Explain the problem and the remedy you seek to the seller.
- If you need help, open a private purchase complaint. Baylaya’s form accepts text only; keep original files and describe the evidence available. A courier investigation or closed support case is not proof that a refund has been paid.
Products coming from Europe
Check whether the item is already stocked locally or still needs international shipping. Ask for the source country, dispatch and arrival estimates, shipping charge, import duties or taxes, who handles clearance, and the return destination and cost before paying. Baylaya does not calculate customs charges, book freight or promise customs clearance.
